Rock Island State Park

Great Falls

Picture of Great Falls

Rock Island, TN

Rock Island State Park offers menagerie of activities for all ages.  There is picnicking, hiking, swimming, photography, boating, and fishing just to mention a few.  There is also a view of a highly unusual waterfall, Great Falls.  Great Falls runs out of a crevasse in side of a limestone gorge.  Above the crevasse is a stand of hardwood trees which makes this an unusual picture that isn't seen very often.  Also, found at Rock Island State Park is a 19th century textile mill.
