June 27, 2005
Great Falls National Park has been added. This is a popular destination just north of the Beltway in the Washington DC area. The park straddles the border between Virginia and Maryland. The main attraction are the many rapids on the Potomac and is a popular place for kayakers and other whitewater enthusiasts. So far, only the River Trails has been posted. More to come in future updates.

Shenandoah National Park has been added. This hiking "hot" spot offers many opportunities for people of all ages. If you live in Virginia or are looking for a great place just to getaway this may just be what you are looking for. Two trails have been added so far, Compton Peak Trail and Rose River Trail. There will be more trails added at a later date.

Graveyard Fields Trail has been added under North Carolina. This hiking trail is beautiful year around, but especially during the autumn and in the spring when the Mountain Laurel are blooming.
Devil's Courthouse has been added under North Carolina. This hiking trail is very strenuous. All uphill to the top.
Looking Glass Rock has been added under North Carolina. This natural feature is a favorite among rock climbers in the area. The Blue Ridge Parkway offers a beautiful view of it except for on cloudy days.
Hurricane Creek Park has been added under Alabama. This hiking trail not only offers beauty but for the more adventurous it offers a couple of other surprises.
Caney Creek has been added under Alabama. Caney Creek is one of the most beautiful spots in Bankhead National Forest.

Aldridge Creek Greenway has been added. 
This hiking trail offers a great place to run, take a bike ride, or take a stroll with children or pets.

Greeter Falls has been added under Tennessee Hiking Trails. 
Greeter Falls offers views of several beautiful waterfalls.

Stone Door has been added under Tennessee Hiking Trails.
This ranger district offers bluff views, waterfalls, and a chance to walk down thru Stone Door.

Huntsville Land Trust - Wildflower Trail has been added.
This trail offers great opportunity to view wildflowers during the early spring.
South Cumberland State Park has been added which Fiery Gizzard Trail belongs to.

Rails to Trails - Limestone Trail has been added. 
This trail offers great solitude and a place to think while getting some exercise.
Cathedral Caverns State Park, Grant, AL
This trail offers no real hiking trails, however it does offer a look at the beauty that can be found under the ground.
